Third race of the UAE President Cup South America Mondial Series will be held on Saturday at the Cidade Jardim Racecourse

The Cidade Jardim Racecourse, of the São Paulo Jockey Club, Brazil, will host the Prêmio UAE President Cup Series For Colts II, the third race of the UAE President Cup South America Mondial Series for Purebred Arabian Horses, on Saturday, 22nd May, 2021, organized by Brazilian Arabian Horse Breeders Association (ABCCA). In total there will be eight races until November, when the South America Mondial UAE President Cup Series Brazil Final will be held.

The Prêmio UAE President Cup Series For Colts II will feature five experienced Arabian racing horses; Vince Rach on his debut and Obstinado Rach, son of the great champion Atentaddo VE, in his second race. Horses aged 3-year-old and older up to one victory will compete in the prestigious 1,200-metre race on turf that was won by Mentor Rach (*Sarmata x Musa Rach by *Polonez) in the first race on 10th April, 2021.

Brazil is the first country to host the newly created UAE President Cup South America Mondial Series for Purebred Arabian Horses which also covers Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.

In addition to prizes during races, all horses participating in the 2021 Race Calendar also compete in the Racing mode of the Arabian Cup 2021.

ARABIAN CUP 2021: it is a score ranking created and administered by ABCCA, where all classifications of Arabian Blood Horses will be registered in the most diverse types of equestrian sports (exclusively for mounted horses), within the national territory, with a total prize of R $ 215,000.00 to be distributed during the “Ranking Arabian Cup 2021” among breeders and owners who compete in events mounted with Arabian horses.

Held under the patronage of President HH Sh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with the support of HH Sh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the directives of HH Sh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, the UAE President Cup South America Mondial Series for Purebred Arabian Horses will be organized in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.

The Emirates Equestrian Federation launched the president of the UAE Cup Series for Purebred Arabian Horses in 1994 to promote the noble breed worldwide, which is now gaining popularity and attractiveness.

The series promotes the UAE’s efforts to create a global awareness of the purebred Arabian horse and its important place in UAE culture and history.

Founded by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to promote and celebrate the Arabian horse, and prove that they can race competitively with thoroughbred horses, the UAE President Cup Series is the first international race series for Arabian horses and remains the premier races for the breed.
